I think I'm done being serious for a while.
It's wearing me down like running the mile.
Well it's 11:22 and I've nothing to do,
Oh wait, excuse me it's 11:23.
Sometimes it's fun just to let go and be free.
You might come up with something good eventually.
In case you seem to be a bit confused,
I'm just writing down random thoughts to light my fuse.
I must admit I stole the title from the trailer to the new Batman movie,
But I'm sure we can all agree it's down right groovie!
See, I'd be pick on xxxbrittanyxxx if she was here,
but she got herself a job, and she's not very near.
11:25 and the time's not really flyin'
I want to write a good poem and I'm really, really, tryin!
Maybe I should try to be a rapper,
ha, what a joke cause all my rhymes are in the crapper.
Normally I do my best writing at night,
but lately it seems my mind's not very bright.
Well, I hope you all enjoyed this bit of random randomness,
I will no longer put your eyes through such great distress.
With that said I bid you all a fond fair well,
And pray that I'll write better, but only time will tell!

I was just bored but didn't feel like signing off of AP yet so I just started writing a random poem to see if it would spark anything in my brain and inspire me to write something creative...................bu t it didn't happen!!!

nice effort, although your rhyming and metre could use a little work. If you're short of imagination and inspiration again some time, try looking for art, reading other poeples work is one way to get inspired, but i find that you have a better chance of finding something original and meaningfull to express when you look at something instead. becuse everybody sees something different and has different thoughts in response to a piece of artwork. poems are already articulated in language, someone elses language, so its not as easy to have original thoughts and original phrases after reading them.

p.s. don't forget about the rhymer on the side of the add poem screen, it's not cheating, the pros use rhyme dictionaries all the time and it makes everything a lot easier and more creative. -
haha nice feel! this is really relaxed and kind of comical. it's also nice to read instantanious thoughts, i believe this is the best way to create true art. what's more beautiful than the natural process of the human mind i love the ending to this too. the reader is made to feel included as a part of your day. i find i write best at night too! wonder why that is.. keep writing and having fun! -Jamie
