soothing the beast

furious, threatening, the raging waters rush
an ungodly evil with unfathomable strength
laying waste to all to in it's path

unphased, she faces the approaching beast
though the waters rise around her, she fears not
her eyes never wavering from the storm

bow to violin, a song from the heart emerges
it's gentle melody calms the storm, bringing peace again
