(from SULTRY LIGHT - TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES coming this Summer!)
We walked along our causeway,
to our little house of glass,
in the middle of the sea,
where everything must pass.
Everything but love,
will slowly fade away,
the day fades into night,
the night fades into day.
We enjoyed our tea,
as sailboats sailed on by,
saw Poseidon and Thor,
fighting in the sky -
concealed behind white clouds,
before we went to bed,
in our little house,
where our souls are fed -
with love that runs so deep,
d
e
e
p
e
r
than the sea,
that surrounds our home,
and flows through you and me.
In our house of glass,
near the end of time,
love will live forever,
as long as you are mine -
with a love that is Divine,
and
d
e
e
p
e
r
than our souls,
a love that is sublime,
that only Heaven knows.

Your love of love and nature are always so well interwoven and this piece pleases on both counts. The sea appeals to me in particular when it comes to nature and love being linked as in my mind there is no better place more inspiring either through the peace found in it or the turmoil. Love contains both just as the ocean does but each hold beauty in their moods.
