Talking to that man is therapeutic
When I hear the sound of his voice
My stresses are melted away
The burdens of my heart are lifted
So are the weights that suppress a healthy mind
All because of a beautiful exchange of words
Between that extraordinary man and I
The words of our conversation seem to be
Some liberation from life’s insanity
Because he seems to understand
And pays close attention as I speak
When he sits back and lets me take the lead
His interest in the sentences that pour from my mouth
Shows that he is impressed by the way my mind works
Only I had never realized I was so intriguing
As we communicate one to another
It seems like we are on a playground seesaw
Each of our words edifying the other so much
That we feel invincible and can conquer anything
We each give the other freedom from demons
That we never thought we could rid ourselves of
The verbal transaction we perform calms our deepest and innermost storms

This is a great write! It's a wonderful feeling when you meet someone that understands you and can carry on a conversation. It's hard to find such people these days in this everchanging world. There is so much new technology out there that keeps us from actually sitting down and communicating. Great thought here and I enjoyed reading it!
