In Coventry Garden

Missing image
artist unknown

The ancient ruins of Coventry
have been haunted throughout the ages
and those who live there can clearly see
its power through seers and sages.

Its beauty so eerie, quickens the heart,
leaves behind imprints of those that depart;
here a monument of old stands alone
from a mighty people, their cornerstone.

In this land of enchantment and wee folks,
where on moonless nights is heard the banshee,
riverbanks overflow as evening cloaks
in this magical land of the faery.

It is here that divination shall reign
in a realm that shall never be mundane.

    I just wonder why nobody want to comment this so nice poem full of magic from the yore and from your poetical pen the same as your ability to write using rhyming pattern whenever your desire and you never fail. Also, you have such a great imagination.
