Look how he runs!
look how he darts,
playing so friskily,
stealing our hearts!
Wrapped on my neck,
Little fanged friend
my buddy, my ferret,
palls to the end!
He's clever and smart,
and cute as can be,
playing with everyone,
but cuddling with me!
He doesn't really meow,
he doesn't have barks,
but he's got my heart,
my little carpet shark!

Awww! How cute. At first I thought you were talking about a kitten. I'm a sucker for kitties. Ferrets are kind of strange to me. Then again I've only been around three, and one of them was blind. They kind of smelled funny, too. Crazy little boogars. Anyway, thanks again for the comment on "Smooth". I enjoyed reading your work.
