As another day in paradise
draws closer to dusk
sipping frozen fruity drinks
while laying together in a hammock
my world could be no better
In your arms, this beauty
around us abounds
and the lighted dock
invites us to the water
Playful and full of passion
we giggle and strip as we scurry
down the dock
to the soothing cover of
the silken mirror before us
As we splash into the
water's warm seduction
embracing and giggling like
naughty children, we suddenly
become naughty adults
Caressing and kissing
slow and passionate
feet fluttering in the water
as the hearts in our chests
The forgotten reality
crashes in as we hear
voices approaching
looking back at our clothes
carelessly discarded
down the dock
and again all we can do is giggle
