In my solitude of blue fantasy
vividly dreams dance around.
Fishing with peaceful desires
all my troubles have drowned.
Closing my eyes to the world
erasing away sadness, sorrow.
Love's imagery grabs my spirit
it's brighter promises tomorrow.
Skipping down life's ordained pier
headed for heavens old shore.
Sand once played between my toes
longing for entrance all the more.
Boldly I tossed my roses of red
to the comfort of the water's bed.

What a cool picture, and your poem really captures the feeling it invokes. Should 'vividly dreams" be "vivid dreams" I think that works better, but its up to you. The poem really paints a lovely portrait and I absolutley love your ending image- tossing a few roses into the blue water- how lovely. Really great job here, and thanks for entering. I love this type of a write.(except at one point) you just stamp through my heart.
Not many could do that.
As a contestant you could, fly away with my dreams in your hands and then throw them like the rose.
