let the words in my heart,
play out a song
on serendipity's harp ~
may the tears of angels
be transformed,
into a rain of roses ~
that fall about your feet,
as if beckoning you
to follow their steps unto my door ~
may you find yourself,
searching amidst anticipations breath,
for a deeper understanding ~
to what your fluttering heartstrings
have known far too long ~
despite all conscious reasoning
that a soul mate does not exist ~
the palpitating beast within your breast,
beats in perfect time with just one other ~
it seems more than your friendship,
will be forever mine.
