Told by Merlin to wait a while more.
Merby thought he understood
the lesson that was at hand.
He only had to put out the fire,
the Magickal Ring of Fire.
So, he had his spell held tight
within his swollen head.
'Fires that still burn
from that magic song
I command you to go out
and nothing should go wrong'
Such a silly boy was he,
to think he could put
the Magickal Ring of Fire out.
His lesson he did fail.
Merlin return as the flames
went soaring to Merby.
Putting them out, just
as they started to sizzle.
"Merby, you fool. Did you not heed,
the reason for this lesson." Merlin exclaim.
"To put the fire out... is what I must do,
isn't that so, Merlin?" Merby was not sure.
"No, dear boy, your lesson today,
was to see if you had patience
to continue beyond this spot.
For jumping the gun, and almost
burning us down.... it is now
back to square one for you."
Poor Merlin said to Merby.

This is an awesome story. Merby sounds like me. Slow, but anxious, er is that anxious but slow.
