The Devil Does Hide In The Light

as if a puppet on strings
but this string has caught:
a damsel in distress and a pair of wings and a pair of un-worn shoes

under the dress the damsel words that she cannot walk the world whether dry or water without footwear

the butterfly devotes itself and says
"wear me, I'll provide your gravity,
I'll fly you off to a new place where dark will become light
and there will be only bright opportunity"

the fly arrests itself to her and the handcuff material is tough, strongly knotted

the damsel either leaves the town of dull paint or disappears to a better place
where the sky will bloom pastel colours
and the butterfly will be her best friend
but the butterfly sends the speak of
"leave with me now/come with me or I'll forever hate you and however much you try and hide, I will come find you and make your life more hell"

the damsel detected a bribe, the damsel said
"I can't come with someone that threats, I'd rather meet death because it's more truthful than a creatured friend who'll turn their back on me if I don't send good signals and follow their every word and each step.
I'll fly my own life and live life until my end which may be either short or long but atleast I picture it a truthful one.
Please leave, fly alone and leave me be as a damsel in not distress but an honest black dress"
