Twee pop and saccharine sweet melodies.
Yeah, I guess I could be dreaming
But this reality suits me fine.
I could be learning Latin
But instead

Found in wallpaper
And packets
of tic tacs.
I could dream,
I could leave,
but this reality suits me fine.
Infinite boredom,
seeking solace
In routine and the repetition
of word-a-day calendars.
If only I could remember,
but tomorrow they値l be gone.
But I値l still be here, lucid.
This reality suits me fine.
Everything is transient
and happiness is fleeting.
But content I値l be,
at least for now,
and that suits me just fine.
