The earth that roams

To you,the earth is at a stand still,
But to me it roams.

It roams our open Galaxey,

A vast place of nothing but space,

And the only thing it does is roam,

but never out of place!

To you the earth is at a stand still,

But to me it roams.

It roams around and around the sun

day and night,

night and day,

keeping upright,

keeping bright.

To you the earth maybe at a stand still........

But to me it roams.

Very well said and also very true. It's hard to gain the proper perspective of our place and the Earth's place in this vast cosmos. I can see you not only understand the bigger picture but you embrace it as well. Kudos to you poet! Your imagination knows no limits and that's a good thing
