As time arrives for sun to set
peace settles throughout the land,
days work is done, we've paid our debt
a tranquil evening planned.
Settled gently within sunset's glow
inhaling days last lights,
serenity begins to flow
as spirits take to flight.
Relaxing with fine food and wine
a time of family pleasure,
laughter and love are all combined
giving all such memoried treasures.
And as those rays float elegantly
it's time for all to sleep,
for none of us will disagree
this night in memories creep.

I'm not sure I understand the last line. Very nice though. For me, it captured a lot of my feelings about the picture. Original too.

Ah, such a sweet sentimental poem. It makes the most pleasurable thoughts spring to life. Family times together, food and fellowship. Just the sort thing to make the day feel wholesome and good.
