The sun has cast her fiery gaze
with loftiness on earth below,
in promise of much warmer days
such grace does heaven show.
Reflected on this scene of peace
as night drifts slowly down,
this glimpse is merely just a piece
of creation's finest gown.
As dark descends the silhouettes
complete this scene of awe,
a view you can't forget
a part of nature's law.
For mother nature takes great pride
in the grand design she weaves,
such visual beauty she'll provide
and you're wonder she'll achieve.

such visual beauty she'll provide
and you're wonder she'll achieve.

I felt that this line didn't quite fit the rhythm you had going, "a view you'll not easily forget" maybe something like, "a view you can't forget" would flow more smoothly with the rest?
Really nice. Made me really think of Hawaii (I went there once years ago!). I often find it very hard to write nature poems, but this is a good one. Thanks for entering!
