One day I thought,
"I wish I could fly,
be free from my thoughts,
my dreams. Escape to a world where nobody knows me,
a world where I can be myself."
But then it struck me.
This world will never let me go.
Fate can never loosen its grasp on me.
So I sit alone in my corner,
trying to figure out how to fly,
because even fallen angels can grow back wings,
even fallen angels.

This is a very sad and forlorn take on the picture, and bitterness. The hopelessness comes through this very well.
I LOVED: "because even fallen angels can grow back wings,">>>>this is the most powerful line of your poem I think.
Also, I would have liked to see what this looked like left-aligned and broken up a bit.
Thank you for entering my contest and g'luck!
