Her quill to write fills a grand entry arbor.
The pretty pink bloom remains on the rose.
This garden is filled with great poems and prose,
hundreds of artists plying passion and ardor.

In tending tender shoots she provides safe harbor.

Villanelle leaves little room to expand amidst refrains and the demands of the form, but this poem manages a theme of well earned respect and gratitude; so very well done in an effortless end rhyme. Thank you for this fine entry into the contest and best of luck in the judging...PK

This is a sonnet variant that I have not tried; you have worked the repeating lines with good sense, and I was tickled with the subtle rhymes in each line 2.
Pamela is one of our most talented poets, and as they say, birds of a feather.
