I can smell the lilacs and the rose petals
I can see the sun gleaming its rays down on me
The warmth and the aroma almost soothe me
I can feel the breeze filled with joy and laughter
Its almost as if something wonderfully strange is in the air
Its all around me in every optimistic smile
Its all beside me in every yearning touch
Its all infront of me in every deliciously sweet kiss
All these wonderful emotions cling onto them and bounce off of me
Maybe it's a spell that the cynics can't contract
Thats why all its hopes and promises can't infect me
But yet almost all inhabitants will inherit it
The ones who don't will secretly wish for an outbreak
The ones who do will be nearly destroyed by its broken promises
I dont know whether to want it or watch it from a far
In the end carrying it will lead to two demises
But not having it may lead to an unfulfilled life
