Sun brassy bright in the sky
A breeze not quite enough to cool
The bicycle rolls along,
quietly.
Momentary shade flashes by
Speed builds down the hill
Downshift for the next
Sweat pours
Breath comes hard as I push
pedals through the cycle
Revolving thoughts
The ride ends
Shade and cool water, body
weak from exertion cools
Legs wobble as I walk
FEELS GREAT!

You have set the scene with just enough detail to stir memory and imagination in the reader. "Revolving thoughts" can refer to a few different things; I picked ' head swimming a little from heat, exhaustion, and thoughts of cool water ahead.
"FEELS GREAT" is a good finishing touch.
