A World Of Darkness

darkness calls his brothers to the round table
these soldiers are ready, willing and able
to spread the evil work of their king all across the land
bring famine and disease to woman and man

dark clouds rise from the depths of the earth
blocking the sun, preparing for the birth
of their infestation that will take over the nation
as diseased molecules fill up the congregation

plotting their destruction with no interruption
darkness gives them instruction to increase production
no one will survive this biological explosion
nucleic neurons nurturing a natural erosion

peoples genetic codes will be altered automatically
their insides will ferment then bodies decay systematically
eventually erasing every living being from the planet
creating a world of darkness, just like he had planned it

    Dag...this was dark; but powerful ("just like he had planned it"). It was (for me) an instructive profile of a serial chiller: 'I'm going to take everyone; the daughters and the sons'... Well, it's a good thing that darkness plans but light is preferrable by far. It puts me in the mind of a children's story/short film from school we saw. Something about a man sitting on a bench and the clouds kinda 'bet' with the sun who could (I think) get the man to take off his coat or something. Anyway, obviously the thinking was flawed there as it is (to me) here as far as the 'plans of darkness'; they really are weak. This was an excellent piece.

    loved the story here. wonderful job brother man. 'a world of darkness'...hmmm...some of us are already living in this world. scary to think that this world is being infiltrated with these crazy minded species...lol...loved this piece. well penned.

    Dark write indeed. Jeez, one of my faves writes touchy feely and two (one of them you) writes apocolyptic pieces that makes me cringe a bit. Although, I'm a bit of a dark master myself as I'm am not all touchy feely but at the end of my tunnel there IS a light. LMAO. Nonetheless, write on. One.
