All music and lyrics by Mairéad (Megan) Murphy...that would be me, haha.
(Verse 1)
Far away,
La Lune sings from the stars.
To the tree,
where magick sleeps in each flower's pale face.
Moon tonight,
lie eastward,
to the orchard's dark side.
The Fey will follow the light.
Chorus:
{La Lune flying, over the village tree tops in green
(closer by the Fey will glide)
Dressed in white, the flower moves beneath the beam,
to our song
Running La Lune, under the forest's calm scenery
(searching for the circle bright)
Come closer Sister Moon, sway the woods this night,
once again.}
(Verse 2)
Winter comes,
flowers bloom in the snow.
Through the ice
And La Lune's blue eyes watch over the eve.
Ease through the
faint way for
Mother Nature's been lost.
But she will bring her on home.
{Chours}
(Piano Solo)
(Bridge)
In an easterly wind
Blossoms fall unto the grove.
And the light always glows
From the Dusk until dawn
Every season's placid shade,
Ah.
{Chours}

La Lune is the name of the faerie...just to clairfy
Well, I write and play music but I also do vocals. No, I don't have a "power house voice" but I think it falls under the catagory of "in tune and pleasent" It's a nice folk voice.
The track was done acoustically on a computer mic...I was practically shouting my vocals so the microphone could pick it...so excuse my lack of softness, haha. I'm sure it would be absolutely better if I had fancy equipment and a guy that could mix and string 5000 takes together, haha.
If I had to critique myself...I would say that pitches were decent...there was one note near the top of my range I really strained on. I should improve on tone and breathing...oh! And diction. ^_^
Please tell me what you think

I am a nature person and love to be out in it as much as I can be. This has such a soft and smooth sound to it, makes one feel at ease.

These lyrics are beautiful. Oooh.. I couldn't get to the music, as my computer began to do strange things, but from these comments it must be rather amazing. I will attempt to listen another day

Thank you! Computers are strange creatures. Much more so then even a complex animal, haha. The music was very hard for me to record. I only had a cruddy computer mic and was shouting to get a good enough balance between the piano. So I crack at times and a weird vibrato sneaks in there. So I hope to get a better recording some day anyhow.
Have a beautiful day!

My strange creature has become sane again!!
You make beautiful music, despite the flaws of technology. Is that you on the piano? thats amazing. The whole thing is hauntingly lovely.
You should indeed travel the world, enticing foreign hippies and tree huggers with graceful and ethereal sounds. A great pleasure to hear

Haha, you always make my day so much brighter. I truly enjoy what I do with music, words, paint...whatever I want to do today...don't know if I could ever make a career out of it...but wouldn't it be something if I did?
I want to make music all around the world with everyone I meet...through fiddle or voice, whatever enriches the hippie souls abroad.
When I go to Ireland next summer I'll play a fiddle tune for you...and then another for the rest of would...then I'll play two more for the hell of it.
Thank you for you lovely comments always.
