Take flight aloft on gossamer wings,
search for love and other sweet things.
Garden of Eden and fragrance allure,
blossoms of new love still quite unsure.
Take of the nectar, quench love's thirst,
taste of the flower neath sunrise burst.
Fluttering wings stirring all senses,
rythmic motion, desire intenses.
Fly little butterfly over dale,
seek the beauty, surrender, inhale.
Petals of softness to land upon,
rest till tomorrow and moon beyond.
Delicate creation mid bouquets,
drenched in splendor of springtime days.

Beautifully written Sandy. I am going to go our now and buy a butterfly bush. I usually keep one on my deck and gaze at the butterflies it attracts later in the summertime. My butterfly bush died over this winter.
