A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes withone syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional.

You are the first to mention the photograph. All the pictures on my poems are mine. I remembered this one and searched my files to find it. It was a special night with the moon throwing shadows while illuminating the clouds surrounding it, just beautiful.
I very much appreciate you likening my Nonet too, in a way it is an old picture of mine also. Now If I can only figure out how to pronounce Nonet! (;
