Dance with me for just one second,
just one moment of peace.
Are you listening? That’s my question,
to the music that I hear.
It’s in everything, it’s around us,
from the mermaids in the seas.
It embraces, it caresses.
There’s a song in the air we breathe.
Can’t you hear it? Someone’s singing.
A chorus of angels in wings.
They are singing, they are dancing.
A ballad inside heaven’s keep.
But when I look at your face it hits me.
Like a slap, it stings and it burns.
Your gaze is betraying your feelings.
You don’t hear anything at all.

this kind of confused me...
i don't know whether it was the imagery, or the random lines that rhymed
but something threw me off.
