Dragon Fly
Written July 9th, 2006
In slumber, I weep rivers of humanity
Recycling love, defeated honor, trust
Lost innocence preserving exiled souls
in tranquil weavings of nature's womb
Lucid images of resurrection seethe
beneath the sun's guide, life's tease
Promising acceptance of happiness
in shadow forged bridges of reality
Here I fly uninhibited, quite untouched
between edges of dying races and earth
Weaving wonders which shall go unseen
by eyes blind to the process of spirituality
Drowning in their ignorance, their denial
my body lifeless, its luster dims to cease
Forgotten in the turmoil of selfish chaos
I transcend beyond this world, I am free

The first stanza is one of those "I wish I had written that" moments. Gently flowing from one sureal line to the next finally to end with the satisfaction of freedom of soul.
A wonderful poem by a wonderful writer.

This was a beautifully crafted piece.. the imagery was just so vivid and soft.. It flowed into the mind of the reader like hone.. slowly yet soft as well.. I really loved how you crafted this poem.. Thank you very much for sharing..
