Embracing Indigo

My weary mind reels, seeking release
upon the indigo spirals of astral streams
Silently awaiting the moment in time
when my body rests and my soul shall fly

Sitting in the shadows of a lone candlelight
my eyes lightly close, letting Kundalini rise
Mentally chasing the rainbow, from earth to sky
I breathe deeply, relaxing both body and mind

In moments I glimpse, beyond white light
taunting me softly, through my third eye
Lavender glows, deepening in brilliant shades
taking me into the serenity of indigo's haze

Waves of spirituality, steadily lighten my frame
releasing stressful holds of the mundane
soothing me to the very essence of my soul
as I sink into the visions of my beloved indigo

Enlightened I travel, uninhibited or afraid
through the mysteries of the Akashic plane
at one with the universe, on a path of light
quickened with energies of the sacred divine

Etheric mist, carries me gingerly back down
to settle within my physical body's bounds
empowered I rise, ready to face a new day
illuminated with the glow of Indigo's embrace
