Labradorite Smiles

Labradorite Smiles
Written October 13th, 2005

Saline leaks, undisturbed
Alone effort to erase a frown
beneath vacant, lying eyes
defying sensuality, unbound

Closed, she waits in silence
refusing a scream to be held
Against the winds of change
within her soul, it echoes well

The world smiling to her face
Casting cruelty, against her back
She reaches out, they back away
fearing her poisonous attack

And they wonder, how they wonder
why she hides away, all by herself
Yet no one took the time to ask
or look into her eyes or try to help

Power surges in her essence
striving to heal a broken heart
Ebbed with painful vengeance
of loneliness that won't depart

Magic revived, becomes reality
the dream of love, just a bane
In the empty hollowed shell
of human touch, denied in vain

Quickening comes within the light
The light of lights, divinity's call
and she'll answer with sultry eyes
mysterious indigo, watching it all

Walking amongst, those that shun
misunderstood in their ignorance
Labradorite smiles, await the day
they come to call with their request

Seeking a healer, as the universe shifts
when their minds bleed with self contempt
