"A little talk with JESUS!"

I know my Heavenly FATHER stands with me each and every day
HE never leaves my side
how selfish a child i am to allow sadness to get the best of me anyway

HE'S always here
never am i alone
because i am only human sometimes for no cause i mourn

when gloomy days come knocking
and soberness i feel
i lift my head to JESUS
fall to the floor and knee

i ask HIM to forgive me for the weakness i have shown
i thank HIM for being so patient
HE never leaves me alone

i sent up verbal praises to GOD up above
i thank HIM for all HE has done for me
and i send up all my love

i pray for such a long time
i lose track of time
i pray until i'm comforted and have peace of mind

MY LORD up in Heaven
thank YOU for all YOU do for me
though human weakness allows my mood to slip
deep inside i know for happiness YOU are the key

Please stay with me forever
i pledge my heart to YOU
YOU are so kind and loving in everything YOU do

i feel so much better
when YOU and i have our talks
i need these little chats frequently
for in this corrupt world to walk!

i'll talk to YOU again soon
i don't know exactly when
but, until that moment I say to YOU, AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!
