The First Day

it was the first day of the world
no distractions in rebirth
breeze fell through the leaves
a new beginning for the earth

it had endured the many evils
seen the wrath of darkest mind
now softly growing forward
no more threat left from mankind

the creatures rejoiced
the world was new

    Merry meet,

Congratulations on winning the Silver. This was a tough contest with lots of really good entries.

This was a wonderful poem about hope for mankind. Great work. I have no comments about the form or manner that wrote. Just wonderful and deserving of a trophy.

Once again, Congratulations on your Silver.
