What stories could the water tell
With blessings from the rain that fell?
Sparkles sweet like diamond shine
Gently grace the water's prime
She is beauty like the stars
As haunting as the planet Mars
And when she looks into its eyes
It shudders right before it dies
In meantime, day is waiting there
Longing for your desperate flare
That will bring rain and summer peace
When all the hatred's calm and ceased
Let me know where you must go
And I will put you on the flow
Reach and touch that brightest star
Tell me somehow, where you are.
Author notes

I love those lines....
Another brilliant poem from you (but what else is to be expected?).
It has a storyline almost..I like the rhyming pattern as well. Fantastic!

Aw shucks.
Thank you Maria. How are you m'dear? I'm in Lewistown right now visiting my aunt, uncle and cousin before going home. I just got back from Europe today. I don't think I can give a full account of the trip in this little space, but you shall receive pictures and a peek of the scrapbook I made for your enjoyment.
I hope your summer has been a great one. Talk to you soon?
Love ya!
