Rhythmic beneath the moonlight
Gypsy dances commence
benzoin fireworks rising’
stirring the ritual of the dead

Thunder stirs forth vengeance
quickening consecrated soil
ancestors answer summons
ascending within their corpse

Lacquered marble's sparkle
enchants the beasts of the night
guardians solid in victory
heal the tribes wounded pride

Stench of decaying limbs linger
upon the wind's poison breath
revealing mysteries of misery
hazing a psyche of dread

Rewards served upon a rapist
denying the right of sanctity
upon the innocence of a maiden
fallen asleep beneath a tree

Formaldehyde dreams forsaken
in screams of  hellish delight
shadowing suffocation of life
within the immortality of time

Gypsy ancestors descend
closing the ritual of the dead
as wicked festivities reign
beneath a full moon spent
