The Purest Embrace
Written August 8th, 2005
Acid tears against silken cheeks faced the darkened moon,
asking why love had never come to embrace such tender flesh,
And as that flesh fell to the earth in cascades of glowing hues,
only silence answered its cries, for its soul ascended to the moon.
