Beneath the veil of my flesh lies secrets unexplored
beyond the diminishing abyss of a soul seemingly scorned

Hollow echoes of the past cling like star dusted hues
against a withered heart resurrected for you

Enchantments can't sustain the passion filling my soul
nor break the loneliness denying dreams I hold

Blinded, you linger with intentions unclear
I seek to reach your heart as you will me to disappear

Shadows seek to lure me once again to their embrace
but I was indigo and gold long before you came

Beyond lustful games, past society's screams
I'll emerge like the phoenix riding upon dragon's wings
