Transfiguration
Written August 19th, 2007
Golden rays once graced me,
empowered beams, unleashed
exalted compliments reigned
though humility always peaked
Transgressions spoiled emotion
Sewage boils in hate contained
Havens lurked in skeletal closets
A fashion statement, freely made
Self forgotten, I blamed the kiwi
it's pubic skin and sweetened taste
regurgitating bile of love's corpse
filling my flesh as a witness, keen
Silhouettes arrived in milky quartz
ebony games of religious claims
distortion their weapon of choice
lucidity riding in elusive cascades
Duplicated, my spirit rebellious
manipulated its weakened state
vengeful, it claimed resurrection
against the egotistical crusades
Humility always peaks in glory
exalted compliments shall reign
empowered beams unleashed
I am indigo, golden embraced
