Hello, my friend,
I am back again,
Today there are kids
playing in the lake,
and people in boats,
Do you remember
back when I said,
"I'd ask you for advice
when life makes no sense?"
Well today that's why I came
to talk to you...
Life makes no sense,
I see people struggling
just to feed their families,
I see people crying everyday,
with heartache, and lost dreams.
Families giving up on each other,
and forgetting their elderly-
None of it makes
any sense to me-
Where did we go wrong?
How could we let this happen?
There's more to life
than just working,
isn't there?
Did everyone forget
how to help one another,
and love their fellow man?
I know you don't have
the answers any more than I do-
But, I just had to voice
my thoughts.
Thank you for listening
yet again.

We all have those kind of questions
Indeed, these kind of questions are deep. Only Creator knows these questions. We have to kind of muddle along in this world of illusions. The higher realms have no suffering, loving and much more real than this so called reality. -
AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED - THIS ONE WILL BE YOUR BEST BOOK - SO FAR - IF THE REST OF THESE PIECES ARE AS PEACEFUL AND TENDER AS THE FIRST THREE I HAVE SEEN!
You have found your forte and your own voice with these OLD OAK PIECES, my friend - which is what all REAL POETS must do - before they become more than pretenders, Sunshine - which i have seen many of in my time! Form one REAL POET to another - it is a pleasure to know you - and it has been a pleasure to read these three pieces - and the watch your growth as an artist since I have known you on AP! Simplicity ALWAYS says it best if you ask me - as that is the way that our heart and soul speaks and sings to us - which is what we must learn before we can become THE REAL THING - as it is plain to see that you have learned with these OLD OAK TREE pieces!

We are the worst thing to happen to this world, sadly...and yes, some people are cruel, and there are cruel things in this world...but I see a lot of good too, includng you, Mom, and this poem. There is no answer to your question, so I think we should just try to look at the good...I love thise collection and I hope to hear more from under the oak tree.
