Hidden Lover’s Dance

Firelight spawns visions against the dying sun
cresting like ember waves across the skyline
as the amber of the sky gives way to the moon
majestic in presenting its glimpse of twilight

With face upturned, softly smiling I wait
for the divine heated kiss of Amun Ra
as he gracefully makes way for Amunet
to embrace me within a protective shroud

Silvery shadows move against the winds
following as though trapped by my aura
spreading energies through each limb
as I dance to the tune of sweet euphoria

Iridescent eyes mingle against the hues
of earthen shapes, caressing autumn leaves
listening intently, upon sung chants they form
swirling enchantments, manifesting dreams

Soaring as one, cloaked in velveteen night
beyond mundane worlds, through etheric mist
mysteries, traveling uninhibited through time
as the hidden one awaits the return of his kiss
