Akasha's Rain
Written October 26, 2004
Muted tones express thoughts not said
on a breeze of dawn that is yet to come
chilling my flesh in the heat of the night
Beckoning me solemnly beyond the veil
indigo mist dances before my sultry eyes
revealing that which is hidden to my mind
My limbs carry no weight as they sway
a trance through journeys traveled before
ancient seekers speak truths of long ago
Dazing euphoria grips my heightened senses
nature's drug to the enlightenment of the soul
forcing me to kneel against the earth's lush soil
Sweet ecstasy comes through waves of pain
as though a virgin feeling the heat of penetration
I crave more, though I feel I'm splitting apart
To lucid dreams I surrender as my body falls
peaceful at a glance, though the turmoil reigns
upon waking in the mundane world where I dwell
alive with the quickening of Akasha in my veins
