Garden Decision

With her hat shading her eyes from the sun
She examines her garden with her green thumb
Daisies, pansies, black eyed susan's standing tall
What shall she cut today to stand in the vase
Snip, snip, snip, done, its raining, now she must run

Please tell me what you think

    Excellent

A very nice write, indeed. I like it just as it is.
Very good imagery. Thanks for sharing this one with us.

This is so simple and yet so sweet. It may only be six lines but I feel that in those six lines you made something pretty and enjoyable to read. Honestly it surprised me because I don't see poems like this very often that are so simple and just what they are. I like the quick snippy flow of the last line because it is a good finish to your piece and it really helps me see the hurried gardener. Good luck in the contest I think you did really well.

    Ummm...this is six lines.

I have some critical comments that I think would help the flow and sound of the poem, if you're interested.
