High on the 4th of July.

So don't ask why,
I'm high,
on this 4th of July.

Let's celebrate like our founding father's did,
let's cellebrate the freedoms that they wanted us to have.
Let's realize,
that beyond our eyes.
There are men and women far away from their land today,
and it's not their fault yet they must comply.
So whether you're against the war or for it,
respect the people that put themselves on the line with it.

So as I sit and have my fun,
I can't forget but a single one,
that didn't want their free land,
to turn in to a desolate apocalypse.
The terrorists we spend so much time looking for,
are right in our back yard,
the man that you speak to paid to protect you.
The man that has no licence,
yet steres the American ship.
I'm no different from you,
I can distinuish a lie and tell what is true.
Remember the people that died before,
and accept the fact,
there will be plenty more.
We all live to die,
we spend our lives asking ourselves why,
and by the time we realize we should cherish our lives,
it's all over.
So enjoy yourself on this 4th of July,
and do what ever gets you high.

forget that tomorrow could possibly bring strife.
