Mistress Hemlock
Written March 30, 2005
Mistress Hemlock won't you save me
from the tightening grip of passion's dance
locked within the embrace of a phantom
whose flesh has never touched my bed
Would you cool the fire that seethes
threatening to consume my very soul
riveting my writhing body to the sheets
as his visions cause me to lose control
Mistress Hemlock as I place you sacred
under the pillow and left pocket of my pants
would you bind the chakra that torments me
saving me from the torturous days ahead
Would you keep me calm and collected all day
as his flesh taunts me silently as we walk
knowing his slender hands will never touch me
for it's his spirit and mind that tends to stalk
Mistress Hemlock won't you save me
should my quivering will begin to break
and promise me a hasty, painless demise
when I brew you up for a midnight drink
Letting me slip away quite silently
to rise beyond the moon for eternal sleep
for my love grows along with my sadness
and I shall not let my soul slip away from me
