the time is now!
Open your eyes
force their lies out.
We'll be the ones
who tear these walls down.
Prepare for war,
and face the truth.
Destroy the governments
and break on through,
over-throw their thrones,
and TAKE control.
Wake up now
and don't stay asleep.
refuse to be controlled,
to be their sheep
lead astray
by their "reeducation"
We'll be the ones
who expose a fascist nation.
We're not gonna fall in line, sir,
we're here to fight for freedom.
We've been asleep for
far too long now,
and our time has come.
Brothers and sisters,
wake up, wipe the sleep from our eyes.
For, we'll be the ones,
who tear down their lies.

inspiring.
this piece is just so inspiring! particularly because i've been reading articles about the government's plans when the economy crashes from lack of oil. there's some really scary stuff they're supposedly planning. this just serves as a little beacon of hope i suppose.

good one but I think I hate wars..why don't you write your poem on a large piece of paper and walk in the streets..maybe your revolution will be a success.
