“To Elizabeth and Emily”

• Emily you opened my eyes so I can see
Making my vision as wide as the see
Through your vivid and divine poetry
You made a poet out of me

• Elizabeth-Barrett sweet and kind
Blessed be thy soul for triggering my mind
From sonnet-43 how do I love thee?
True pure love as if it came to me

• Let me count the ways
That you filled up my days
My empty pages you had them written
By thy words I got smitten

• Such splendor Dickinson you provide
Centuries ago yet you bubble in my inside
Thy words and lines sing and rhyme
Taking my poetry to its prime

• Mrs. Browning sweet and fair
Blessed be thee for comforting my despair
Though thou are long in the past
But thy presence for eternity does last

• If thou were here now
Would come to your feet and bow
For if it wouldn’t had been for thee
There wouldn’t be a poet out of me
