so I whispered
to myself the other day
'they value colour no more'
it's time to whiten
me now
but wait,
a bird
has pecked their brains
no longer am I played
no putting to right my colour again....

Ah, now the excellent entries are pouring in. Loved this one. Using a rubic's cube as a metaphor for personal "color". Loved the last line. No critique... I wouldn't bore you with that. This is wonderful as is. Thanks for entering.
