*laughs* Well, ya got a laugh outta me. Thanks for this, it's different, and you replicate the country accent pretty well on the page. Props to you! It's all well done but I love the third line in particular. Not sure the title suits but it can be amusing: the conversational style when one is expecting a whisky driven lament raises a smile. Again, props to you!

Well, now that's certainly a different ballad all right! It does tell the story of a single event, complete with plot. I love the different viewpoint.
