Rhymes with "ips"

She is drunk enough not to care
as she dips smooth finger tips
into each of the sauces.

Slowly her lips savour the taste
eyes closed as she slips, back
into happier memories
like water dripping
little ripples of pleasure, snipping
away her excuses

as she slides into savory.

    This is so smooth.

"snipping away her excuses" is so delightful fresh.

I was let down because it wasn't a rhyming poem like it advertised itself to be; it was sensual, but the way it was written made you want it to go on longer.
