Where art thou oh shining Knight?
Grey skies dispell my teary charade.
Dimly lit lantern that contains my soul,
wanes as the moon hides behind my veil.
Come forth oh wedded bliss that I have long awaited.
Left at many an altar as sacrifice too whom I have denied.
No stars this Knight to shine ever bright,
akin armor that creaks and moans.
Fairest Maiden am I who battles her dragging alone.
Wind swept misery of a silken flesh untouched by none but the breath of God.
Free the virgin within that cries to be taken and held down dearly.
Void of emotion that the coming darkness assaults.
Train leaving tracks upon a lonely station.
The Engineer at least was cute.

lol.. that ending gave me a giggle!! Loved the old worldly feel of this.. and true fairy tale with a twist at the end! Excellent take
