Too Early

I just buried you.
Whose life was taken
yours or mine?
I had just married you
but death has forsaken
love divine.

Too tired now to think
of what has yet to come.
All I do is hold our son.

To eat, to drink
I know that I should.
But I just think of you.

I feel buried alive.
Right beside you.
I feel buried alive.
There's nothing I can do.

I wonder what he thinks
playing over there?
Is he wondering where you are?
Does he even care?

It is so damn cold.
So many people.
So few sounds.
The silence screams in my ears.

I just want
life to be normal.
End this nightmare.
End this dream.

I feel buried alive
right beside you.
I feel buried alive
and there is nothing I can do.

so strong hun, i never looked at life[death] like this, it will seem though as even though we are not the ones gone that we are with the hurt one can get strong words i simply adore them!

Wow, this is a strong poem. But I'm thinking the 3rd line should be "yours or mine" maybe it was a typo? Great job and good luck in the contest!
