Butterscotch clouds
the dawn left behind
Blackbirds singing in rivalry
why am I awake?
and then I remember
the look on your lips
I don't want to sleep any more

I like the butterscotch clouds left by the dawn, the blackbird competition, the memory keeping you awake.
Congratulations on the bronze.

Very nice ...
as usual, but I wonder about "look on your lips". What came to mind was a pair of lips posing in front of a mirror. A bit surreal, I guess.
Good luck in the contest.
