A good write here
I know people are against hitting any child but I thank God everyday my mother knew the difference between a spat of correction verses a hit from abuse.
For their is a difference if you have been corrected with love in the lead .I believe this with all my heart If taught love and received love and taught to care and respect your elders you live a life with less harm coming to you than those who are not given this love for in time with out it they bring far worse to themselves and it lasts a lifetime

Thank you stories
Yes, you are correct. A slap of correction is OK, I'm referring to a knock down strike against a child. Some people hit a child so hard they go flying, or stumbling and fall down. This is abuse. Correction is necessary in raising children, but not abuse. Thanks for reading my poem and commenting on it.
