semblance of summer cream
flowing from a salad sun,
I have tasted its sin
adoring lips of strawberries,
sanguine, sublime
and impossible to refuse
fruits of seasons crush,
blended into finer wine
to sip its liqueur
is to drown in
velvet skin

OK you got me, bring strawberries when we meet!!!
Pity you couldn't work in some cricket, but the strawberry liqueur
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Eat the next lot from a gold cup!

I have a bag of botta bing cherries in the crisper!
some are tart
Others hint of a taste of leaves and bark
Some are soft and a hint to bland
Incinscere shake of a hand
But once in a while, the perfect crunch
Exploding sweetness
Savoring the perfection
Eating more in slight dejection
Didn't save enough for lunch. -

You make me hunger for the finer things in life. For those flavors that rest so elegantly on the tongue and heart. Again, I hope you do well in the contest.
Sincerely,
Leo Long
